Justin Dye  In-2C-128px-TM

JD_New_HeadshotJustin has over 24 years of general management, operations, strategy, corporate finance, and M&A experience. Most recently, Justin was an integral part of a private equity consortium that acquired and created Albertsons Companies. While involved at Albertsons, Justin and team led over $40 billion in acquisitions, divestitures, and real estate transactions. Justin served as Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administration Officer during his 11 year tenure. Albertsons LLC grew sales from approximately $10 billion to over $60 billion with over 2,300 stores and 285,000 employees creating one of the largest privately-held companies in the U.S. Prior to Albertson’s, Justin was an operating executive for Cerberus Capital Management and held general management and corporate development roles at General Electric. He received a B.A, from DePauw University with academic honors and was a member of the men’s tennis team. Current and past board roles include: Lead Director, New Seasons Market, Senior Advisor to PJ Solomon Investment Bank, DePauw University Board of Trustees, Idaho First Bank, New Albertsons Inc., New Cub Grocery, and Executive Committee of Food Marketing Institute.

Nirup Krishnamurthy, CIO

Nirup Krishnamurthy serves as Partner in Dye Capital & Co and Chief Innovation Officer of RipKurrent – a Dye Capital Company. Nirup has over 25 years of experience in innovation, technology, restructuring and M&A in Fortune 500 companies. As Chief Information Officer of United Airlines he was part of the management team that undertook one the largest turnaround restructurings in corporate America. As Chief Technology Officer at Northern Trust Bank, he oversaw its major IT & Operational & Transformation projects.  As Chief Strategy Officer of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Company, he oversaw the operational structuring and M&A assets sale process.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D in Industrial Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo.  At Dye Capital, Nirup’s focus is on due diligence, synergy realization and operational leadership of portfolio companies.

Jade_CulbertsonJade serves as co-founder and CGO of ripKurrent, LLC, bringing with him over 25 years of business management and systems engineering experience. Jade’s expertise is in sales, management, technical design and services of applied HVAC, refrigeration, and renewable energy systems in a wide range of vertical markets including: commercial, retail, healthcare, education, hospitality and industrial. Most recently, Jade led the commercial air conditioning group for Panasonic in the U.S. Prior to Panasonic, he served as North American Business Leader for Guntner U.S. Additionally, Jade has held management and sales positions at United Technologies’ subsidiary Carrier Corporation and the Trane Company. Jade holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville and a BS in Management from Tusculum College.

Leo RieraLeonardo (Leo) Riera has over 30 years experience in investment banking and fund management. He was the Country Head for Bankers Trust in Venezuela for over a decade, in charge of Investment Banking and the broker-dealer vehicle. He also served as a consultant with McKinsey & Co., and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for Citicorp Investment Bank in Venezuela.  Leo was President of the International Banking Association of Venezuela for three terms. He was also Head of Asset Structuring and Credit for a $2 Billion Emerging Market Debt Fund based in Florida, where he was responsible for investments in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mexico, China, Nigeria, Singapore, Angola and Brazil.  More recently, Leo has been an entrepreneur; he founded, promoted, raised capital and sold companies in the mining and technology sectors, including an entity with gold mining operations in Peru and Brazil, and a company involved in the gasification of municipal waste streams, currently advancing projects in various locations of the US and Europe.   Leo holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Católica Andres Bello and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania (1984). In 2018, He completed a course in Strategy and Valuations at the Harvard Business School.
